My Journey

Welcome to Honey+Bee Photography! Here's a little about me. I have two passions: running and photography. After earning a scholarship to run track at Cowley County Community College in Kansas, I ​jumped at the opportunity to work with the marketing team photographing student life and all athletics. 

Through ​photography, I've enjoyed capturing ​special moments, ​raw emotions, ​fantastic illusions, ​and beauty in the ordinary. ​One of my favorite projects was working on a media showcase for the National Qualifying Athletes equipped only with my iPhone and a camera room. The experience ​was phenomenal and turned out to be a great success! 

I've been developing my portfolio with inspiration from family and friends in Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, ​and ​now Michigan, where I currently live. ​Living in different states and meeting new people inspires me to capture moments, people, and places through photography. I learn something new every day and ​am excited to keep ​growing my portfolio and flourishing as a photographer.
